           A week prior to her sister's birthday, Maria decides to make a pair of bread dough earrings for her. Maria puts all the ingredients she has bought on the table. After that, she takes a big bowl from the cupboard and mixes flour, salt and water together in it.
            As she is feeling warm, Maria turns on the fan. Then, she kneads the dough until it is smooth. After that, she sprinkles some flour on the board and rolls out the dough on it. She takes some cookie cutters out of the drawer and uses them to cut the dough into her favourite shapes. She places them on a cookie sheet and turns the oven on low.

          Have you ever seen a stick insect? As its name suggests, it looks like a stick. The world's longest insect is the Indonesian giant stick insect. It can grow to a length of 33 centimetres.
          Stick insect feed on leaves. They are hunted by many different animals, such as birds, snakes, frogs, and even lizards. To avoid being eaten, stick insects have to hide. They do that by blending into the background. For example, a brown stick insect cannot be seen easily when it keeps still on a branch. This way of hiding oneself is called camouflage.
